Torah Scribe Program – Part 1

Please join us for our two-part program on torah scribes.

Session 1 – March 8 – How Torah came to be: the written word; early scrolls (kumran); the development of scribal arts; kativ yad (variations of writing style); and regional variations.

Session 2 – March 22 – How a Torah is made, kept and repaired; recovery of Holocaust scrolls (Westminster); modern scribes; and how a scroll is commissioned.

This online program is presented by the Adult Education Committee.
