Online Kabbalat Shabbat Service

March 27 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

This coming Friday, March 27, Congregation Shirat HaYam will hold its first online Kabbalat Shabbat services.  These services are open to EVERYONE.  Feel free to forward the details to ANYONE who matters to you.

We will hold two services.  The first service will begin at 5:30 pm (Eastern) and is directed towards children and young families.  The second, more traditional service will begin immediately afterwards at 6:00 pm (Eastern).  Feel free to join either service or both.

You will need either a computer, tablet or smartphone to which you have downloaded the Zoom conferencing application or a conventional phone.  You do not NEED anything else.  You are welcome to bring shabbat candles, wine and challah to join us in those blessings.  The main 6:00 pm service will be guided by the Shabbat Evening Service Selections from Gates of Prayer for Shabbat. If you want to download a copy to follow the service, please click Shirat HaYam Prayer book.

We encourage you to join using the Zoom application on a computer, tablet or smartphone, which will allow you to see the service and (if your device has a camera) be seen by others.  You can also choose to join using a conventional phone and listen to the service.  Whether you choose to join the family service at 5:30 pm or the main service at 6:00 pm (or both), you should use the same link/dial-in information below:
