Open House at the Surfside Campus
September 16 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Wednesday, September 16, 2026
5:00–7:00 p.m.
Surfside Campus
31 Western Avenue
Come see the Surfside Campus, proposed to become the new spiritual home and Center for Jewish Life of Congregation Shirat HaYam.
Join fellow SHY members and friends of the Congregation at the historic life-saving station and youth hostel at 31 Western Avenue. The main building will be open for us to view, and preliminary drawings will be available showing how this remarkable property might be transformed into a home for our congregation.
The same drawings will also be on view during our Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House, 11 Orange Street.
Please register to attend. We hope you will join us to experience the property firsthand and begin to imagine, together, the future of Shirat HaYam.
