From Egypt to Eastern Europe, Morocco to Mexico—Jewish cuisine tells the story of who we are and where we’ve been. Join us for a weekend of global flavors and traditions with Naama Shefi, author of The Jewish Holiday Table: A World of Recipes, Traditions & Stories to Celebrate All Year Long.

On Friday night, Naama will join us for a post-service Q&A. Then on Saturday, we’ll gather to celebrate the richness and diversity of Jewish holiday cooking with a delicious spread of dishes from her cookbook—like Roasted Eggplant Dip, Zucchini Pashtida, and Pistachio Cookies—prepared by a local caterer and fellow congregants. Enjoy a signature cocktail and curated Israeli wines as we taste our way around the Jewish world.

Naama will share stories and demo her recipe for Sabich—a beloved Israeli pita sandwich stuffed with eggplant, hard-boiled egg, salad, and tahini.

All guests will receive a signed copy of the cookbook.
