Congregation Shirat Ha Yam organizes weekly kabbalat Friday Shabbat Services at 6:30 pm unless otherwise noted. All are welcome in peace. Saturday Study Sessions are held at 9:30 am for “schmooze”, 10:00 – 11:00 am for study.

Online Adult Education Event – Simon Sargon

Congregation Shirat HaYam welcomes you to join our Adult Education Program with Simon Sargon.
Simon is a renowned composer, pianist, retired Professor of Composition at SMU, and Director of Music Emeritus at Temple Emanu-El in Dallas. Simon has made many important contributions to the field of Jewish and secular music—as a composer, arranger, educator, pianist, conductor, producer-presenter, and advocate. Simo’s Azkara- A Jewish Requiem is the first piece in its genre which makes use of traditional texts and musical motifs expressing the Jewish approach to death and mourning. Azkara will feature world-famous Cantor, Azi Schwartz, and the professional choir of the Park Avenue Synagogue.
