“Mini” Film Festival – Online Discussion with Cellin Gluck, Director, Persona Non Grata

March 3 @ 7:30 pm

The first March adult education program is a “mini” film festival. Beginning on February 26 until March 3, you will have an opportunity to watch two films at your leisure. The films: Persona Non Grata, the story of Chiune Sugihara, a Japanese diplomat who, against his country’s orders, issued visas to Jewish refugees, saving over 6,000 lives. The second film, Sugihara Survivors: Jewish and Japanese, Past and Future about Chiune Sugihara and some of the “Sugihara survivors” whom he helped save.
On March 3 at 7:30 pm EST, the director of Persona Non Grata, Cellin Gluck, will lead a discussion and question and answer session and, in the process, talk about his own fascinating background.
