Congregation Shirat Ha Yam organizes monthly online Friday Kaballat Shabbat Services at 5:30 pm unless otherwise noted, and weekly in-person/online Friday Kabbalat Shabbat Services at 6:30 pm unless otherwise noted. All are welcome in peace. Saturday Study Sessions are held at 9:30 am for “schmooze”, 10:00 – 11:00 am for study.

Interfaith Council Presents a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Service Embracing the Dream
January 17 @ 6:00 pm
The Nantucket Interfaith Council will hold a service in commemoration of Dr. King’s dream. At the service, local clergy and faith leaders will join with musicians and historians to pay tribute to the struggle for justice on our beloved island.
The Service will feature Rabbi Gary Bretton-Granatoor along with other Nantucket religious leaders; Cantorial Soloist Elliot Levine; historians Neville Richen, Frances Karttunen, and Barbara White; and representatives of the Museum of the African Meeting House. The service will be available for viewing on Local Channel 18 and streaming on YouTube NCTV18 (click HERE) as well as on Shirat HaYam’s Facebook page (click HERE).
